Our remote monitoring system keeps watch over your computer 24/7, monitoring over 30 important Windows services, checking for proper operation of your network connection and storage drive, watching out for stealth installation of bad software, monitoring logins, looking for critical errors in 4 important Windows log files, and making sure Windows security updates are installed on a timely basis. If the system finds a problem, it alerts us so that we can review the issue. For many things, we can issue a fix directly without even contacting you and for no additional charge. It also provides a secure way to provide remote support at the click of a button should you need help with anything.

Originally targeted solely at our commercial customers, we’ve found that residential customers also like the peace-of-mind that this economical service provides. Currently just $12 per month for each computer monitored.

Like our remote monitoring, this software protects your computer from viruses and alerts us if any problems are found, like an infection, an update not installing correctly, or the protection getting broken for some reason. This system uses the enterprise version of BitDefender, a highly-respected product in our industry. Updates are applied as often as every 3 hours – automatically! Scanning is automatic as well. Currently just $5 per month for each computer protected.

This is an additional layer of protection from the bad guys of the internet. It is targeted at “Malware” rather than viruses, and also provides the ability to “roll back” changes to your computer should you get an infection that threatens your files. Like our other managed products, the EDR software alerts us if anything goes wrong. While no software can absolutely guarantee you won’t get an infection, the combination of a managed antivirus and a managed Endpoint Detection and Response software is the current gold-standard in protection.

We even manage the system remotely for a very small annual fee to make sure all of the access points and switches get their periodic updates and continue to give good service even when your neighbor installs a new system that would otherwise interfere with your carefully-configured setup.
